2007 Grullo Mare
I am excited to add this pretty grullo filly to our program. She has a pedigree that is full of proven performance horses that have won AQHA pts. or are money earners. Her sire Rawhide Slvr Bullet has earned 377.5 AQHA Open Pts.; 345 of those points are in AQHA Open reining passing Nu Chex To Cash making Rawhide Slvr Bullet the highest Open Reining AQHA pt. earner ever! She should produce some outstanding colored foals down the road for us. She has been tested and is homozygous black (EE) which means all the foals she will produce for us sired by Indigo Mega will also be homozygous black. This young mare has a special place in my heart because she traces back to Lad's 50 (on the bottom side). In 1987-1988 I worked at a reining facility in North Carolina & they had Lad's 50 there, so I have had a chance to ride a lot of Lad's 50 offspring, they were all very athletic! She produced a beautiful grullo filly that is both homozygous black & homozygous dun which means she will be 100% color producer. She is bred back to Indigo Mega for 2011 foal.
